We’ve already seen that the Porsche Macan tackles sand dunes rather well, so the carmaker has released another teaser video of its baby SUV, this time filmed on its test track in Weissach, Germany.
With only days before the Macan’s official reveal at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Porsche wanted to highlight the high-performance side of the new crossover, with the video showing the baby SUV as it is driven aggressively on the Weissach circuit.
The Macan seems to hold itself very well on the twisty test track, but that is hardly a surprise, given the Cayenne precedent. Since it’s a smaller and lighter car, it should be even more fun to drive than its bigger brother.
What’s even more interesting about this video is that it includes the best view of the interior so far. Don’t expect surprises though: just like the exterior, the cabin is inspired by the Cayenne. The dashboard layout, the large screen on the center console flanked by chrome-trimmed and vertical stacked air-vents, plus the button-filled lower center console, all bring to mind Porsche's larger SUV.
